Saturday 12th June

10.30am-12.30pm: Open Garden, Broomhill Community Library. An opportunity for you to view our newly planted Pocket Park rock garden, the historic rear garden and our development plans for the Library. Library open for browsing, plus book sale. Guided tour on request. Broomhill Community Library, 10 Taptonville Rd, Sheffield S10 5BR

12pm-2pm: Penalty shootout for children- Can you beat the goalie? At Weston Park (on the grass area to the side of the Museum). NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP. 

1pm-3pm: ‘Academy tennis’ taster for children, Sheffield Girls’ School, Melbourne Avenue, S10 2QH (entrance close to Newbould Lane end of Melbourne Avenue).
1pm-2pm: For children aged 4-8 years
2pm-3pm: For children aged 9-11 years

2pm-4pm: Greentop Circus. St Mark’s Green.
This is an event for the community and families. Centre stage will be the Greentop Circus providing two workshops for children (with an adult for the younger age group.) Plus stalls and Westside Singers providing some music at 3.00pm.

2pm-3pm: For children aged 4-7 years (1 adult per 2 children.
3pm-4pm: For children aged 8+.

Sunday 13th June

11.30am-1pm: Picnic for the Climate. Bring your own rug and sustainable picnic for an opportunity to chat about how we can respond to the emergency. Facilitators will guide our conversation! Follows our own Climate Change Service at St Mark’s Church – just head down afterwards to St Mark’s Green, Broomfield Road, Broomhill, Sheffield S10 2SE. NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP. 

1.30pm: Introducing Yoga with Yoga at the Reach, Weston Park (on the grass area to the side of the Museum). 11 places only. Bring a mat! Book at nicola@yogaatthereach.com

Monday 14th June

2pm-3pm: Story time in the Garden (2-4 years). Under cover, but bring a rug to sit on and your favourite cuddly toy. Plus Children’s Book Sale. Broomhill Community Library, 10 Taptonville Rd, Sheffield S10 5BR. NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP. 

7pm: History Walk: Westbourne and Southbourne Roads. Discover why the houses were developed and something about the people who lived in them.  Meet: 6.45pm for prompt start at junction of Westbourne/ Southbourne Road in the vicinity of no. 31 Westbourne Road. The walk will be approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours.  £5 in aid of Broomhill Community Trust, raising funds to create a Community Hub for Broomhill.

Tuesday 15th June

10.30am-11.30am: Babes to Pre-School- Sing and Story in the Garden. Children’s book sale, Broomhill Community Library. NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP. 

12pm: Poems and Public Memory: a walk with John Birtwhistle around a few memorials in Weston Park, Reading a poem at each. (Meet at Firth Hall Gate, junction of Clarkson Street and Western Bank. Collection in aid of ASSIST). NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP. 

Wednesday 16th June

10.30am-12.30pm: Join the garden volunteers for some gardening keep-fit! At Broomhill Community Library. NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST TURN UP.
